The active ingredients are only partially water soluble, so eating the raw dried leaf or creating a tincture is a good method of consumption. You can make a more traditional tea if you let it steep for 10 to 15 minutes, but may find more potent when consumed as a tincture.
Effects kick in about 40 minutes after consumption and include general enhanced sensitivity, increased blood flow and improved stamina.
All parts of the vine can be used, but the most potent alkaloids and the most water soluble (So most suitable for making simple teas) are found in the main vine bark, so we exclusively stock shredded vine from Peru.
