A-Grade Traditionally ground Noble Kava roots blended from the best farm in Fiji.
Known locally as "Waka" this top quality kava powder (Piper Methysticum) is highly potent, and is standardised to around 12% kava lactones.
Traditionally, kava is prepared by placing 50g in a muslin bag, soaking it in 1.5l of water and kneading the powder in the water for five to ten minutes to allow the kava lactones to fully dissolve in the water. The resulting drink is then flavoured, drank and enjoyed!
You can substitute water for coconut milk, pineapple juice or any other flavour prefereence.
50g and 1.5l of water would be enough for 4 people, an individual would use the traditional "handful" of powder - around 12-15g.
